The Drawbridge Inn is under new
management and has made all kinds of great changes since we had our last reunion
there. They have invited our Officers and Board Members to come and check out
their new make over. In doing so the staff has given us a great room rate of
$50.00 per night. So we thought some of you who
have never attended a reunion or a gathering of the troops might be interested
in seeing the hotel changes and meeting some of your fellow members as well and
take advantage of this great offer. The MRFA has no activities planned but we
will have a hospitality room open with beverages and snacks where everyone can
meet.

You do not have to stay all three days.
If you live close by and just want too drop in and visit then feel free to do
so. Or come and stay a day or two. We'd be honored and pleased to
have you. Bring your spouse or guest come and sit by the pool and relax

In case there are members and guests
interested in golfing at the MRFA gathering in May here are two golf courses
close to the Drawbridge Inn:
1) Devou Park Golf Course is located
at 1344 Audubon Road, Park Hills, Kentucky 41011 - (859) 431-8030 . They
claim to be just 15 minutes away from the inn via some local roads and no
interstate ramps. I believe the golf pro told me it was just
$17.00 for 9 regulation holes and a cart ride?
This is an 18 hole regulation public golf course. You can find them online

2) Twin Oaks Golf Course is located at 450 East 43rd Street, Covington, Kentucky 41015 - (859) 581-2410. Nine holes at this course will cost a senior $36.00. Important: You need to make tee times two weeks in advance. They do not take "walk-on's". You can find them on line at: http://www.golfersweb.com/golfcinc/twin.htm
There are a lot of other golf courses around, but these are two public courses that are real close to the Drawbridge Inn.
Nothing is pre-arranged at either course for Members so you are on your own to make tee times. The Drawbridge Inn is not responsible for transportation to or from the golf courses.
If Members would like to suggest other public courses please feel free to make them known at the gathering or thru the organization.
