Update: August 23, 2004

Folks…

After a few months of trying to contact someone in DC, the U.S. Park Service & Washington D.C. Metro Police Department and the folks who run the Vietnam Memorial, Rich Corrick has been given the word that, due to the high terror alert, and all the construction going on in DC, especially around the mall, we will be unable to have the Mobile Museum Trailer available for display on Veterans day this year. To park on a side street with other vendors you have to be granted a permit which usually takes two years to receive. Rich says the hotel we’re using, the Quality Hotel and Suites, would be unsuitable for parking the trailer, so Please pass the word that’s its a no go on the trailer this year in D.C.
