The Mobile Riverine Force Association will be holding it’s 2005 Reunion at:
Drawbridge Estates Inn at Ft. Mitchell, KY
~ The Drawbridge Inn will begin receiving reservations after September 1, 2004. ~

Reunion rates are good 3 days prior to the reunion and 3 days following the reunion. Check-in Wednesday August 31st – Check-out Sunday September 4th. Rates for the Main Building are $77.00 plus tax (Single, Double, Triple or Quad Occupancy). Rates for the Garrison Building (detached) are $67.00 plus tax (Single, Double, Triple, or Quad Occupancy). There is only a 4% occupancy tax added to the room rates. Individual Rooms: Reservations should be made by July 31, 2005 to insure room availability. In the past the Drawbridge has kept reunion rates available up until the reunion dates, but make your reservation in advance to assist both the Drawbridge staff and MRFA staff. Thank you…! Guest rooms check in times is after 3:00 pm. Check-out is no later the 12.00 Noon. The Drawbridge will make every effort to accommodate those guest arriving earlier than 3:00 pm, but early check in may not always be available.

Hospitality Rooms: All of the large rooms in the Main Building are $125 per day. The two rooms available in the Garrison Building are $118 per day. They are not as large, but are very adequate. All of these rooms can be reserved by calling “Jennifer Hesse” at 1-800-426-3841.

Registration Fee: $35 for Member/Spouse/Girlfriend. An additional $10 fee will be charged for each child or friend/guest of the Member. Non-Member registration will be $50.
Handicap Accessible: The Drawbridge is handicap accessible if you have a handicap and need special needs please call 1-800-354-9795 the Drawbridge had a medical person on staff at all times. Automobile Parking: Ample parking at no charge / RV hook-ups are available ask for cost 1-800-354-9793.

Travel Assistance: The MRFA recommends Mann Travel Services if you wish to use a travel consultant to assist with your travel plans for the 0-5 reunion. Please remember this is for your travel planning only. You have to make your own hotel reservations and other plans. You do-not have to use Mann Travel Services. Your choice of services is up to you. If you use Mann Travel Services please ask for Alison Robinson – Travel Consultant… Alison has been assisting me with air flights for a few years now she’s a nice young lady and very professional in her job.

Airport Transportation: The Drawbridge operates regular shuttle service at no cost to the reunion guest to and from the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport (it’s in Ky near the state line). To contact the shuttle service there is a bank of phones in each baggage area pick-up the phone that says Coach to the Castle and a van or bus will pick you up shortly.

We’re in the planning stages with the Northern Kentucky Convention Visitors Bureau’s Brenda Jackson about transportation for you ladies who want to go shopping and tour the area which was not available this past reunion.

Associate Member Mary Werner (Brown Water Social Tour Director) has offered her assistance with this since she lives in the area and has many contacts. Mary, along with the Convention Bureau, will also have tour packets, brochures and coupons available for the local area. The Convention Bureau is trying to work a deal where their will be no cost for the transportation. More on this will be available in up-coming issues of the River Currents newsletter.
