2008 Reunion Tentative Schedule

Day One (Thursday 8/21/2008)

Arrival - All Day - Welcome Table at both hotels. Hospitality room at Crowne Plaza
4 – 7 PM Dinner Harbor Cruise, 2 boats (?) one from each hotel.

Day Two (Friday 8/22/2008)

All Day - Welcome Table at both hotels. Hospitality room at Crowne Plaza
10 am – 4 pm — Bus tour of San Pedro
10:15 – 11:30 am — Cabrillo Aquarium
11:45 am – 1:15 pm — Korean Bell and Ft. MacArthur Artillery Museum
1:30 – 3:15 pm — Lane Victory (Lunch aboard)
3:30 – 4:45 pm — Maritime museum (some people could go by streetcar)
5 pm – return to hotels. Dinner — on your own, however, we will help small groups make reservations at local restaurants in San Pedro

Day Three (Saturday 8/23/2008)

All Day - Welcome Table at both hotels. Hospitality room at Crowne Plaza
During day optional trips and tours including such possibilities as:
Shopping trip to South Coast Plaza
Long Beach Aquarium and Shoreline Village
Hollywood and LA Tour
Formal Banquet – Crowne Plaza Hotel
6 pm Cocktails
7 pm Dinner

Day Four (Sunday 8/24/2008)
9:30 am - Breakfast at Doubletree Hotel
11 – 11:30 am — Memorial service

Additional Information

The Crowne Plaza is in San Pedro as is the DoubleTree. We will be using both hotels. You might have not been able to find the Crowne Plaza as it just changed names again. It was the Los Angeles Harbor Hotel and I think it still comes up as that.

San Pedro is the Port of Los Angeles and is the busiest port in the country. Together with Long Beach we account for over 40% of all cargo in the country.
