The Mobile Riverine Force Association will be using the Hanalei Hotel in San Diego, CA. The dates are November 9-11, 2000. Room Rates are $89.00 per night plus a 10½ percent room tax. Parking is $3.00 per day with in and out privileges. If not staying at the hotel, parking is $1.00 per hour.

You can make reservations by calling 1-800-882-0858. Be sure you mention you’re with the Mobile Riverine Force Association. Since there is a limited amount of rooms at the hotel you may want to make your reservations ASAP.

Events

1.   The MRFA will share a hospitality suite at poolside with the Gamewardens of Vietnam Association.

2.   There will be a show and tell type of display, showing latest weapons, craft and equipment used by the Seal Teams. Buses will be provided by Gamewardens at a nominal cost. Lunch is included after the display. MRFA members will be able to purchase these tickets.

3.   The US Navy/US Coast Guard Vietnam Memorial, which includes names of the Ninth Infantry Divisions 2^nd Brigade  and supporting units, will be dedicated at a future date.  Funds are still needed to be able to complete the Memorial.

4.   On Saturday evening there will be a “Luau” (Pig Roast) poolside at the hotel. We’d like to thank the West Coast Chapter of Gamewardens for their assistance and support. There will be no registration fee, only the hotel and the events you would like to participate in. there will be refreshments at the hospitality room
